How To Handle Cards and Gifts the Wedding Guests Bring – Advice from the Wedding Expo

Wedding gifts

Your wedding guests will most likely bring cards and gifts. While opening them at your wedding is not required, it is considered good etiquette. Plus, it’s a nice way to show your appreciation for their thoughtfulness!

But what to do with those cards and gifts; where do you keep them? It can be tough to keep track of everything, especially on your wedding day! So, here are a few tips to help you out:

• Have a designated table or area for them. This will help keep things organized and prevent lost items.

• If you have many guests, consider assigning someone to collect the cards and gifts as they come in. This person can then place them on the designated table or area.

• If you’re opening the cards and gifts at your reception, designate someone (or a few people) to help you open them. This way, you can focus on enjoying your wedding day and celebrating with your guests.

• If you’re not opening the cards and gifts at your reception, you can still show your appreciation by sending a thank-you card to each guest. This is a nice gesture that will neither go unnoticed nor unappreciated.

With these tips in mind, handling cards and gifts at your wedding will be a breeze! But if you still need help, many a wedding planner in New Mexico would be more than happy to help you. So, where do you find and book their services? Come to our shows!
