What are the benefits of exhibiting at a wedding show?

If you’re a wedding professional, or if you offer a product or service that you would like to promote to soon-to-be-married couples, exhibiting at a wedding show can be a great way to meet new clients and grow your business. At a wedding show, you’ll have the opportunity to meet with couples, their friends, and their families in a face-to-face environment.

A wedding show allows you to showcase your offerings in a way you cannot do through any other form of marketing.  Prospective customers have the opportunity to see, feel, touch, and taste … and most importantly, the opportunity to meet you face-to-face.

How many couples will attend?

Instead of offering hopeful guesses, we’ll tell you how many registered and how many attended in the previous year. Our shows have been the largest and most attended in New Mexico for more than a decade. If another show promotes larger numbers, consider asking an exhibitor who participated if the claimed numbers are realistic.

How much does it cost to exhibit?

Will all my competitors be there?

With all of the online resources, your competition is everywhere. The wedding websites have dozens, if not hundreds, of listings in every category.  And then there’s Google.

Our shows are well-received by our attendees because we provide them with an array of choices, but without the clutter that is found online.  For the products and services that are needed by nearly every wedding, it is likely that there will be other exhibitors in the category, but you will definitely have far fewer competitors than you have online.

Because we want our exhibitors to be successful, we place caps on the most popular categories and similar exhibitors are spaced apart from each other.

Can I participate if my business is not wedding-specific?

Absolutely! In addition to planning their wedding, our attending couples are planning the next chapter of their lives. Our show has proven to be successful for many non-wedding businesses, including real estate agents, mortgage companies, financial planners, and insurance agents. While many couples attend together, our attendance is largely female. This provides a great selling opportunity for products or services related to beauty, fitness, and fashion.

Can I purchase the list of attendees if I do not exhibit?

The list of attendees is one of the primary benefits of show participation.  The list is provided only to exhibitors and is not sold or given to anyone else.

Beware:  If you are contacted by a third party that claims to be selling our attendee list, know that this is a scam that goes around the show industry from time to time.  Our list is only available from us, and only provided to our exhibitors.

I've never exhibited at a show before. Can you help me prepare?

We love helping new exhibitors succeed because it helps both of us! We know that if you have an effective display, presentation, and show strategy, our show can be your best marketing investment. Most of our exhibitors join us show after show, and we want you to do the same. We can help you with booth design and your marketing materials. Plus, you’ll have exclusive access to a series of training videos that will give you the keys to success.

Is a wedding show worth the investment?

  • A good rule of thumb is to determine your average profit for each booking.
  • Determine your historical “close rate” after you’ve met and/or set an appointment with customers. In other words, what percentage of those  customers eventually booked with you?
  • Consider how many couples you could initially meet and/or set appointments with during the Wedding Expo. Don’t expect to meet even a third of the couples that attend the show.
  • Compare  the profit you stand to gain with the cost of an exhibit space. If the potential profit is greater, a wedding expo should be a wise investment.

I don't have the time, energy, or resources to make a show work for me. Are there other options?

If you cannot exhibit at our show, we have another opportunity that will allow you to reach hundreds of engaged couples. How far in advance should I register?

We recommend that you register for the show as soon as you have made the decision to participate. By registering early, you will have plenty of time to prepare for the show.

The most successful exhibitors begin preparing for the show 1-2 months in advance. They decide on their booths and how best to work the booth; and they introduce themselves
to couples through social media so that couples are looking to find them at the show.  Others register and pay just a few weeks from the show date. While we end exhibit sales one week
before the show, we often sell out of space beforehand.

Once you register, we provide online training videos and our vendor handbook. Our weekly exhibitor newsletter is sent by email starting six weeks before each event.
