5 Important Details for Your Virtual Wedding

Virtual weddings

Virtual weddings

Virtual weddings are a new trend that have been made necessary by the pandemic. If you’ve decided to host a virtual wedding, congratulations!!! Streaming your wedding is a beautiful way to include those important to you even though they are not physically available. If you’re considering having a fully virtual wedding or a wedding that is live streamed, here are some important details to keep in mind.

·  Check Your Internet Connection Prior

Without good internet, you won’t be able to live stream your wedding. Make sure you do a couple of speed and connection tests days before your wedding. This way, you’ll have time to resolve any issues that pop up. Take stock of the areas of your wedding space where the connection is spotty and avoid them. All your software should also be up to date.

·  Use Proper Equipment

Where possible, a new device is always best. You should also invest in things like an adjustable stand, if you’re streaming from a phone or tablet. Make sure that you have easily available, any items that might come in handy during the streaming. Also carry out a test record to ensure that everything works perfectly.

·  Lighting Is Important

Where possible, the formation to go for is the window, the camera and then you. Regardless of whatever app you use, livestreaming will distort your quality a bit. Lighting can help with that. A well-lit space and natural light is more flattering so you’ll look better. If you’re hosting at night, try to use your light effects in a natural manner too.

·  Take Time Zones into Account

If you’ll have guests tuning in from out of town, it’s important that you keep time zones in mind. Plan your wedding at a time that accommodates everyone as much as possible. Also remember to include what time zone you’re working with when sending your invites. You don’t want Aunt Marge coming online to find out that your wedding is long over because her 10am is your 10pm.

·  Save The Recording

There are many reasons why you should the save the recording of your wedding. If any guests were unable to meet up, you can send them the video. Sometimes, technical difficulties could occur on their end. You’ll also love having it as a keepsake that you can watch to relive the memories. Best of luck!!!
