What To Pack For Your Honeymoon

What To Pack For Your Honeymoon

Just because it’s an exciting vacation with a special name, preparing for it doesn’t have to be a daunting task. You’ve got an entire wedding to plan, so packing for your honeymoon might not be at the top of your to-do list. We’re here to help! Here are some of the big things you shouldn’t forget when packing for your honeymoon:

  1. A Nice Date Outfit. If you’re planning on having at least one fancy dinner with your new spouse, you’ll want to have a cute outfit to go with it. It doesn’t have to be a fancy ball gown or 6 inch heels, but it’s good to have a nice dress, skirt or pair of pants to make sure that you’re ready to have a fun night out.

  2. A Small Purse or Backpack. If sightseeing is on your itinerary, make sure to bring a small bag that won’t weigh you down. Then you can keep your essentials with you when you go for a stroll on the beach or a walk through the town.

  3. Comfy Sneakers. If you want to de-stress after all of the wedding festivities, a relaxed honeymoon on the beach or in the mountains might be exactly what you’re looking for. Even if you’re not planning on going anywhere, consider packing a pair of comfortable sneakers for trekking through the airport. The last thing you want stressing you out is sore feet!

  4. A Sweater or a Light Jacket. Even if you’re headed to a warm, sunny paradise, there can still be times when it gets chilly, like on an airplane or at night. Don’t forget a little something to keep you warm. If you and your honey are going to a tropical oasis, there might also be some rain, so consider packing a raincoat, poncho or umbrella.

  5. Good Luggage. You might not be a big traveler, but trust us when we say that a functional suitcase can make all the difference! If you don’t have any good luggage, consider adding it to your registry or getting a good set before you leave.

Now that you’ve got the big things down, don’t forget the basics: toothbrush, pajamas, sunscreen, etc. Keeping these things in mind will help reduce your planning and packing stress, and make your honeymoon all the more special!
