Different Table Sizes and When to Use Them at a Wedding

Different Table Sizes and When to Use Them at a Wedding

When it comes to wedding planning, one of the most important elements is selecting the right size tables for your venue.

It’s important to remember that the number of guests at your wedding and the available space will dictate what size tables you should use.

The following guideline can help ensure you get the right size table for your New Mexico wedding!

·      Smaller Weddings

For smaller weddings with 20-30 guests, round tables seating 6-8 people work best. These easily fit into corners and larger spaces and allow everyone to mingle comfortably while still having plenty of conversation room.

·      Larger Weddings

For larger weddings between 50-70 guests, rectangular or square tables seating 8-10 people are ideal. These provide a good balance between accommodating your guests and not taking up too much space.

·      The Number of Guests

If you’re hosting a New Mexico wedding with more than 80 guests, consider using long banquet tables that seat 12-14 people. This is great for maximizing capacity while allowing everyone to sit comfortably at the same table.

You can also set up smaller round or rectangular tables in addition to the banquet tables if you have extra space or need additional seating areas.

Choosing the right size table for your New Mexico wedding requires carefully considering your guest list and venue space. With the right professional wedding planner, all of these details will be taken care of so your special day is perfect. But where do you get such a professional?
