6 Ways to Stay Hydrated on Your Wedding Day

6 Ways to Stay Hydrated on Your Wedding Day

Health tip for your wedding

Can you remember what happened the last time that you got dehydrated? All the dizziness, fatigue, cramps headaches and possibly passing out is a no-no for your wedding day. That’s why we thought that we should remind you to stay hydrated on that day. A health emergency caused by dehydration at your wedding is a bad idea. So, how do you stay hydrated?

·  Appoint A Monitor

Put one of your bridal party members on “water duty”. They can check in to make sure that everyone is getting enough water.

·  Celebrate Getting Ready with Water

We don’t mean just water. Although you can do so if you want. Mimosa mocktails that are made of sparkling water, freshly squeezed orange juice and ice cubes would be just the perfect drink for this occasion.

·  Pair Your Drinks with Water

For every glass of wine, beer or cocktail that you have in hand, have a glass of water nearby to balance you out. Your body needs it.

·  Stock Up on The Equivalents

It doesn’t just have to be water only, coconut water is a great way to rehydrate yourself too and for worse case scenarios, you can even have Gatorade nearby.

·  Use Alarms

If you do not already have an app that reminds you to drink water, then set an alarm for it. Your alarm can help you to remember that you must drink a particular amount of water at a particular time to stay hydrated.

·  Practice Prior

If you make regular water drinking a habit in the days leading to your wedding. It will be very easy to continue with the same on your wedding day and even after.

This advice is especially important if you’re having a summer wedding as people are more prone to dehydration then. Stay safe.
