Your wedding bouquet is beautiful! Be sure you know how to preserve it

Your wedding day will be unforgettable. The magic, the emotion and the beauty of everything surrounding this event deserve to be preserved forever – unfortunately though, human memory cannot remember everything.

This is what photos and small souvenirs are for – to remind you of how lovely everything was on your Big Day, and of how much everything meant to you. Your dress, your jewelry and your bouquet deserve to be well-preserved and to withstand the sands of time – but how do you do that? How do you preserve your gorgeous bridal bouquet, for example?

We have gathered some tips to help you with this – so read on and find out more.

·       The options. These days, there are multiple options when it comes to preserving a bouquet – so choose whichever suits you the most. There is the press and frame method (which you can do at home, by pressing some of the blooms in between a book’s pages and then framing them, or you can hire a professional to do it for you). Furthermore, there’s also the glass dome or shadow box option (which can be done by silica gel-drying or freeze-drying).

·       The pros. It is essential that you work with a professional preservationist whom you can trust. Do some research, find someone nearby who can do this for you and make sure you check with their reviews. The last thing you want is to ruin an irreplaceable item, such as your bridal bouquet – so find someone who can preserve it in a flawless way.

·       The delivery. If the preservationist you have found works near you, it is best to deliver the bouquet yourself. Otherwise, you can ship it to them (one or two days after the wedding is ideal). Depending on the company policy, you may be required to pack your bouquet in a padded cardboard box or in a cooler (which may or may not be provided by them).
