Handling Wedding Day Anxiety

Handling Wedding Day Anxiety

Things will come up on your wedding day so don’t let them get the best of you.

Your wedding day is bound to be full of nerves, emotions and anxiety. After all, this is a hugely important moment in your life and you will want it to be no less than perfect – so it’s only natural that some stress and nervousness blend in the picture as well.

However, it is absolutely crucial that you know how to handle all the anxiety and emotions, so that you can actually enjoy your Big Day. How to do this? We have gathered some tips for you – so read on and find out more.

·       Think positively. Really, you may think that all eyes are on you – but even if that is true, the guests at your wedding will not be watching for every single flaw in the Big Day. On the contrary, they will have their eyes on you because they care about you and because they want to fully support you in such a big moment of your life.

·       Write your speeches well ahead of time. Do this and you will not have to face the cold feet, the anxiety and the pure torment of having to speak up in front of a crowd. Write your wedding speeches (and/or vows) in advance, rehearse them in the mirror and they will be a true pleasure on your wedding day.

·       Breathe in and relax. This is supposed to be a happy moment in your life – not a terrifying one. Even if accidents do happen, nobody will blame it on you (and it’s more than likely that people won’t even notice). Breathe in, breathe out and shout your love for the entire world to hear. You’ve got an amazing love story and this is your day to truly celebrate it!
