Outdoor weddings

Planning a wedding is as exhausting as it is fun. Whether it’s an outdoor or an indoor wedding, a lot of work needs to be done to make it spectacular.

In planning an outdoor wedding, there are certain things you should either avoid or consider. Here are some tips for planning an outdoor wedding.

● Think of the Season

Spring, fall, winter, or summer; different seasons bring different feels and ambiance. Just because it is an outdoor wedding does not mean that it doesn’t need intricate and careful planning.

Each season brings its different vibe. So it is essential to recognize and acknowledge what the season expects from you to make your outdoor wedding a success.

● Plan a Theme

Yes, this is usually a must. Ensure that you can plan a theme that fits the season and the venue you choose to hold your reception.

There are many options for an outdoor wedding. Designing a piece is thrilling, and you don’t need to follow everything to the T. You can add your little touches here and there too.

● Plan for Eventualities

If you are holding your wedding, especially in the winter or spring, make sure that you plan for the cold and rain. Have a tent ready to protect your guests, provide warm meals and heat packs.

You can also take precautions by wearing long sleeve dresses or shawls when holding a winter wedding. In the summer, make sure not to have a wedding reception when the sun is at its hottest. Instead, keep your weddings during late afternoons and don’t make it too long.

Check with your wedding venue to make sure that they have working air conditioners also.

● Get Your Bridesmaids Involved

Your best girls want to be a part of all the planning processes. So, get them involved, listen to their ideas, and ask for their opinions.

● Involve Your Partner

This is most important even if it comes last on the list. Every decision you make should be between you and your partner. It is both your big day after all. Make sure that he/she is okay with decisions such as venue and vendors to hire.
